Esentia Systems Expert Training


The Esentia Expert Training Seminar that will be hosted on November 7th 2008 is designed with the installer and security provider in mind. This will be a technical based training seminar that will specifically address 3 popular and emerging CCTV & Video Surveillance product lines: Geovision, Alnet Systems and Arecont Vision.

The Esentia Expert Training is designed to address items of interest to YOU – Anything you ever wanted to know or ask, November 7th will be your day. Irregardless of how technical the subject is, you can be assured to walk away from this event well equipped. We will make sure that any need, question or concern that you have will be addressed.

Product engineers and technical staff direct from Geovision, Alnet Systems and Arecont Vision will be present to provide you with direct information.

We will cover every aspect pertaining to the Geovision and Alnet DVR system build, setup, configuration and design. Hardware issues, PTZ setup, Point of Sale Integration, DVR integrated Access Control, Remote Access/Firewall issues –everything.

 

 


 

Where will the training be located?

 

The Esentia Expert training seminar will be conveniently located in historic downtown Baton Rouge Louisiana next to the Mississippi river and the old capital building. For those that will be visiting us for the first time, you will find many things to do in the area. We will provide lunch for all in attendance. Lunch will consist of Louisiana’s favorite, Jambalaya and Gumbo.


The training will be held at the Baton Rouge Sheraton Convention Center Hotel conveniently located just past the I-10 Bridge. Nestled next to the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino & Baton Rouge River Center, the all glass atrium is very hard to miss.

This training is FREE of charge. However, only dealers, installers, vendors and invited guests/clients of Esentia Systems will be able to attend this training seminar.

We highly encourage you to bring any or all of those in your organization to attend this beneficial training seminar. It is our intention to provide you with all the tools and information deemed necessary to you as a systems integrator/installer. You are encouraged to RSVP for this event in advance.

 

8:00 – 8:10 Introduction – Esentia Systems

  • Introductory welcome to the class and to cover the day’s events.

Alnet Systems
– Direct from the Alnet Technical team, you will get a first-hand look into the future of an enterprise grade Hybrid DVR solution that provides unique Megapixel IP camera integration.

 

9:00 – 10:00 Alnet Systems - Introducing to the Hybrid DVR Card family

  • Client software overview, streaming remote Mega Pixel cameras over internet.
  • Feature demonstration of Alnet software features such as: Multi-monitor support, Server initiated connection, Off-site recording, Controlling Inputs/outputs, PTZ Manipulation, Multi-Server Connections and more.
  • Further demonstration such as camera settings & adjustments, Resolution selections, Frame-Rate, Motion, Advanced options, Compression, Recording, PTZ, Audio, Server Streaming.
  • Will cover Scheduler, Domain Registration, Program Settings, E-Map Editor, and more.
  • License Upgrades, how they work, ease of use

 

10:00 – 11:00 Alnet Systems - Hands On installation Setup and Configuration.

Issues such as, hardware compatibility, known issues, system resources, upgrades – basically the “Do’s and Don’ts”. This segment will focus on the actual hands on installation, setup and configuration.

  • Start with clean installation, and walk through of setup for the software. Walkthrough of adding cameras, adding archives, adding multiple hard drives.
  • Basic hardware requirements, present list of hardware specs, minimum system requirements for different systems. Supported List of IP cameras.
  • Questions about usability, hardware, specifications of the cards, etc can be answered.

 

11:00 – 12:00 Lunch

Lunch, 11:00 – 12:00 Lunch: Lunch will be provided featuring Louisiana’s finest culinary favorite Jambalaya & Gumbo!

Geovision
– Geovision will provide first hand, expert training on all aspects of the Geovision product line as it pertains to you – the installer. We will sit down and discuss ALL issues relating to the Geovision product line, complete from the POS, CMS software to the setup & configuration of a new system build. If there is anything that you wanted to know or ask the Geovision Technical team –now is your opportinuty.

 

12:00 – 3:00 Geovision - Introduction & Technical overview of product line to better introduce the lesser known products.

1:30 – 3:30 Geovision – Complete GV Card Installation & Software Setup

  • Version 8.2 – Latest improvements. What is coming next? Where are we going?
  • The Basics: Installing and Configuring a GV DVR Card. Hardware Requirements & Common Mistakes.
  • Setting up the Software – Cover Software Features & Explain.
  • General Troubleshooting, Compatibility Hardware Issues & common problems. Addressing common problems and typical issues that installers face concerning building systems. Hardware issues, Codec issues and related topics.
  • Setting up Web camera & Router adjustments & bandwidth adjustments.
  • PDA or Cell Phone access, common issues and solutions.
  • Setup & configuration of GV-NET to PTZ.
